Thursday PM Update
Posted by: Chris Hammrich - 07/23/2009 4:38 PM

Lots of sunshine is again the rule across KELOLAND today.  Temperatures have warmed quickly across the state as well, especially across western and central South Dakota where highs have made it well into the 90s.  In the east we have warmed nicely into the 80s.  We will have a minor threat of some storms tonight in the far south central part of our viewing area, most of the storms will stay in Nebraska but a few of them could sneak as far north as Todd, Tripp and Gregory counties.  For the vast majority of the state this evening will be beautiful!

Tomorrow will feature a slight chance of a few storms as a cold front moves through the state.  That front will also drop our temperatures and give us some windy conditions for the start of our weekend.  Thankfully the temperatures for the weekend don’t look quite as cool as they did early this week.  The reason for that is that we will probably see a little more sun than we first thought.  The weekend looks dry with our next chance of scattered showers coming in on Monday.

Have a great evening!
